Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe headache after wisdom tooth extraction which seems to be due to dental abscess formation which is putting pressure as infection extending from tooth to region below root apex. I would suggest you to consult a oral physician once and get proper cleaning of the area done. Chew on citrus substances. Yes headache is due to pressure build up only. Go for root canal treatment of concerned tooth to prevent further spread of infection. Go for irrigation of area with hydrogen peroxide, betadine and saline. You should take a combination of Diclofenac and Ibuprofen to relieve pain.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
