How Can Severe Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms Be Treated?

I have dealt with substance (alcohol) abuse for quite some time now unfortunately. I made the choice the other day to get sober and since then I ve been going through major withdrawals. I was prescribed Librium when I went into the hospital for detox help but that s all they gave me and let me go. After taking the Librium for not even a full two days it made me pass out three different times, one of them possibly being a seizure. (I was alone when it happened.) I was sent to the hospital for that time and they did not do anything for me but let me go home. What I m going through now is absolutely hell. My body is in all sorts of pain, down to my fingertips, my head is pounding like never before, anytime I stand I feel like I ll pass out unless I sit down right away. My anxiety has increasingly became worse and my depression is starting to act up again and I m super clammy. I m only ever warm if I have a heated blanket on me on high. Is there any advice you can give to me to help with this withdrawal end or at least ease up? I was feeling a little better but about an hour ago all this started up again for the second time.
