Hi,

Thank you your question. Ring worms are topical infections cause by superficial fungal infection. They are common in children and during pregnancy. There are few ways to treat.

1. Through cleaning with soap
2. Can use antiseptic soap like dental
3. Can use anti-fungal drugs both superficial (Nystatin) and oral like (Gruseofulfin)
4. For prevention Increase intake of vitamins like Vitamin C and E

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mutuma Geoffrey Zambezi
