How Can Persistent Cough Without Any Fever Be Treated?

Hi. I had flu over a month ago with cough, sneezing, etc. And can t get rid of this annoying consistent cough. I ve been drinking tea with lemon & honey and diffuser with essential oils, but cough is driving me crazy!! No fever.. any suggestions?

Hi. Maybe we should rule out factors like smoking and allergies. I suggest that you take a cough syrup or lozenges containing dextromethorphan. This is the mildest and the best solution. Maybe you might want to repeat a course of antibiotics, namely taking amoxycillin twice a day for 3 days. This will cure the cough. Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
