How Can Persistent Cough Occurring In Twins Be Treated?

my 6 month old twins were prescribed ventolin and now asthalin for their cough...ventolin was used for a week with the cough persisting and now they are using asthalin for over a week and the cough is still there in the night . it is not a consistent cough..they cough and then stop...i am thinking of taking them back to the doctor on tuesday for her to recheck them. What do u recommend

Hi,
From history it seems that they might be having lower respiratory tract infection.
As this is problem is since a week. they might require one course of antibiotic medicine to rule out complication like pneumonitis.
consult pediatrician and get examined.
Some blood investigations and x-ray chest might require.
Ok and take care.
