How Can Painful Throat Dysphagia Due To Tracheostomy Be Treated?
when a hospitalised person with tracheostomy (under support air, prolong intubation) complain of something hard stuck in the throat and feeling uncomfortable and pain during suctioning. what it could be? And what are the things can be done to sort out the uneasy feeling? the doctors says nothing can be done, but these feeling of something hard stuck inside the throat is terribly uncomfortable. the person is in 60s

Weather the tracheostomy part is closed? If it is in situ then how frequently your cleaning.
It may be obstruction due to mucous or crusted blood or dried sputum or oozing of serous fluid from wound etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your ENT/physician they will examine clinically with x-ray then treat you accordingly.
