How Can One Overcome Symptoms Of Menstrual Cramps Post A Tubal Ligation?
I have been tired and worn out, moody and very emotional. I'm not running a fever or feeling sick but I am noxious and not really hungry. I have had my tubes cut and tied and still getting my period. But the period symptoms have gotten worse with cramping that comes and goes and cramping in the lower back. I never had these before with my period.

Hi, I understand your concern. Menstrual cramps is a common side effect seen after tubal ligation. It remains only for few months & menstrual pattern returns back to normal after that. Till then, - Lie in an inverted position (on abdomen),when the cramps are too much, You can foment lower abdomen for some time. - Try & have good motion during periods/ drink lot of water & have enough fibers in diet. - Confirm absence of vaginal infection/ white discharge.. in case it's present get specific treatment with your gynecologist's advise. - Also exclude urine infection. - You can take any pain killer pill after food to control pain - Try to be positive. Thanks.
