How Can Moles Be Treated?

I have a mole on my face that was flat. It became irritated, crusted over, and then healed. It has been completely healed for 2 months, but it is now raised. The brown part is much smaller, but it now has red around it. I have a dermatologist apt. this week, but it s caused a lot of anxiety.

Hi,

Mole you have may be compound nevocytic nevus. It may be elevated black brown small lesion. If you feel embarassing, you consult dermatologist. After thorough examination and investigations,he might remove it surgically under local anaesthesia. Excision biopsy may be done.Histopathology examination may be done to rule out malignant changes. Avoid anxiety and be relaxed. Have patience. You will be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
