How Can Lymph Node Enlargement Due To Ingrown Facial Hair Be Treated?

hello doctor I had an ingrown hair on my face, it got infected, adn the infection inflamed my lymph node. I went to the doctor. he gave me 2 antibiotics - fucidin cream and zinaxim pills. I want to know if i am supposed to put the fucidin cream not only on the area where the ingrown hair was/is, but also on the swollen lymph ?

Hello Dear. The cream given is to be applied at the site of boil/folliculitis or ingrown hair, not at the site of lymph node. Lymph node enlargement is a sign of immune system fighting against infection in the body. Kindly take antibiotics for the prescribed number of days without fail. Wash face with clean water and keep the area dry.
