How Can Itching In Mouth After Exposure To Bleach Be Treated?
I was using bleach to clean my tile floors. I m not sure if I ever even touched it (I hope I didn t) and I might have picked up a piece of food to eat it. There is this little part in my mouth that itches a little bit I m sipping plenty of water. I m prop baby just going a little crazy and thinking I did, but if I did what should I do? Should I stick to the water??
The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction to bleach. I suggest rinsing the mouth with water. I also suggest using Cetirizine 1p mg daily in the evening to relieve the itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
