Hi, I have irregular periods problem. Since 2 yrs my periods are irregular. I used Sandoz regestrone 5mg in 2015 2times to get periods. After using first time my period were regular for 2months. later again stopped. I didn t took medicine for few months. but I didn t get my periods. So I took one more time in April 2016. After that I got periods for month. Again stopped for 4months. Then I took medicine in december 2016 to get periods. Again no periods on Jan 2017. I took another time on Feb 2017. I m 27yrs old now. I got married in March 17. Again periods got stopped. I moved to UAE country in 2015. increased my weight by 10kgs (43kg to 53kg) may be because of food/place change. I m much worried about periods & pregnancy. Pls suggest what to do?

Hi, I think you should do a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. Irregular periods can be due to some thyroid disorder or polycystic ovarian syndrome. Try losing some weight. You can take some hormonal treatment for that. If you want pregnancy, you can take some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
