How Can Inconsistent Bleeding After Taking Misoprostol In Order To Terminate Pregnancy Be Dealt With?

my wife had last periods on dec16,,,2013(starting date),we had no taken any precaution.Tilltoday she had missed her periods so we tested pregnency with the help of pregnency kit and found the test positive.so as adviced by my friend who is a medical pharmest i give 4 tablets of misprost on 21st jan 2014 evening,After taking 2 tablet only pain started ,after taking another 2tablets kept in vagina near by 11pm on 21jan 2014she started bleeding.but bleeding wz not proper..some cloats came out,,,next day on 22nd jan bleeding wz stopped...so please advice how to handle this situation and get out safely out of this problem.

Hi, thanks for writing..
I understand your concern.. But donot use this tablet without the supervision of a doctor as they have serious side effects. Prior to taking the tablets a scan has to be done to see for period of gestation and to know intrauterine pregnancy. Gestational age less than 7 weeks, medical method is effective.. Now you have to consult a gynaecologist and get a scan done to see for retained products of conception. if its present either a repeat misoprostol or a D and C might be required. Hope i have answered your queries.. good day.
