General & Family Physician Dr. Jitender Chauhan's  Response
Hello, welcome to healthcaremagic. Weight of a person should be within a healthy range whic can be calculated from BMI. For good health your BMI must be between 18 and 24. BMI can be calculated from weight divided by square of height( in metres). So first of all calculate your ideal weight. To improve on it you must take a healthy diet rich in proteins and carbohydrates. For gaining weight proteins should be more in your diet. You must exercise regularly as it increases your appetite. You can take frequent small meals. Wish you good health.
