Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Headache, Chills, Fever, Dizziness, Breathing Difficulty And Weakness Be Treated?
symptoms: 4X per year I experience: general overall sickly feeling Headache (bad) at first, feel very cold (freezing chills) later changes to fever slight dizziness very hard breathing (gasping, can t get enough air) overall feeling of weakness cannot sleep I feel so sick it s all I can do to just lie in bed. symptoms end after aprox 12 hrs.
It's normal for people to get infected with virus. The symptoms you describe you experience 4x per year are exactly due to acute viral infection onset. Usually, the duration depends on the immune system of the patient and aggressiveness of the viral strain explaining symptoms ending after approx 12 hours.
Anyway, to keep you calm, I'd suggest to run a complete blood test including complete blood count, biochemistry testing, urine analysis to see if any problem there, and treat it adequately. For the moment, just conduct a healthy diet and lifestyle regimen. Keep well hydrated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
General & Family Physician
