How Can Hair Loss While On Lithium Carbonate Be Treated?

HI, I have bipolar disorder and I am on 900 mg of lithium carbonate. My hair is falling, and the supplements that I hear help hair from falling interact with Lithium. What should I do? do I take the supplements anyways? (Biotin, and other supplements)

Hi,

Lithium can cause hypothyroidism and consequent hairfall. I suggest TFT like serum free T3, free T4 & TSH level measurement at first.
