How Can Flu While Suffering From Spherocytosis Be Treated?
My spleen was removed 20 years ago as treatment for spherocytosis. I m a 42 year old generally healthy white male, currently in the third day of fighting a particularly nasty case of the flu. Does my compromised immune system make me a candidate for medical treatment?

If you do not have cough, fever then no need to consult a doctor. But as a preventive measure you should take pneumococcal vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine.
