How Can Excessive Sweating Be Treated?

i keep getting invited places to go w friends and i just cant get myself to go. I just drove to a restaurant where i was meeting friends and i starting sweating in my car and could not get myself to go inside to have a few drinks. this is not the first time this has happened and i know it is getting worse. All i do is go to gym early before people wake up so i see nobody and get the rest of my day done early so i see no crowds. I stay at home all day and go to bed at dinner time and wake up in the middle of the night. I know i am lucky to live in this great country and so many people have life worse than mine. i am trying not to complain, but this is getting really bad. What can i do ? Please help if you can, Thank you.

Hello,

Excessive sweating is mostly related to hyperthyroidism or hormonal imbalance. So better to consult a doctor and get done thyroid function test (TFT) and hormone levels. You may need hormone pills or anti thyroxine tablets. Another possibility is hypertension and heart diseases. So also get done blood pressure monitoring, and 2D echo. If all these are normal then no need to worry about heart diseases. Sometimes excessive stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms. To avoid stress and tension, be relaxed and calm. Don't worry you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
