General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In such cases, wax removal procedure should be done by ENT specialist only, as there are chances of damage to the tympanic membrane. Second thing upon consultation of ENT doctors other tests like audiometry as well as local examination did properly. So better you should consult an ENT specialist. For temporary pain relief, you can take tablet ibuprofen. Don't use spiky instruments to remove wax on your own. After treatment maintain proper hygiene of ear every day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
