How Can Chronic Cough And Fever In A Child Be Treated?

hi sir, my child has severe cough and cold.he is only 4 years old.he sometimes had fever also. i have given the medicine levolin syrup 3 ml 3 times daily.and also montair lc kid 2.5 ml for 2 times. but cough and cold not yet reduced.nasl congection is also there i have also taken nasal drops to him otrivin 2drops to each for 2 times.is this the medicine correct i am giving.please help me.

I have worked through your query in detail.

I would say that you are treating in a right way, but I would need some details since how many your child is on medication , because the normal course of cough may get prolonged to 2 weeks, usually cold gets subsided in 3 days, if it is viral related it may take some time.

I can advise you if fever is still persisting or not subsiding , you need to add sinarest syrup and syrup amoxclav to combat infection completely.
