What Causes Chronic Cough?
I have had a cough that has lasted 6 days. I first thought it was alergies but more of a constant tickle in my throat. I cough so much it hurts my abdomen . I do not have a fever nor head congestion nor chest pains. When I blow my nose comes a light color slime and also when I cough up stuff. I also feel very tired from coughing so much and weak.

In such case I would suggest taking combination of antihistamines like Levocetirizine and mast cell stabilizers like montelukast. Taking proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole daily for 4 weeks will be helpful to clear acid reflux also.
