How Can Carpel Tunnel Syndrome In The Right Hand Be Treated?

I have carpel tunnel in my right hand. I have been doing a lot of crocheting lately. My right thumb feels a little like it s asleep. Below my thumb, going down to my wrist, if my shirt sleeve rubs against this area, it feels raw. I have a little pain, but not much. Is this related to my carpel tunnel? Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Your symptoms of thoumb&nearing part of wrist is due to carpel tunnelsyndrome itself.
Treatment would be depending on severity &cause of carpel tunnel syndrome.
It would range from physiotherapy &anti inflammatory medicines/local injection of steroid
Please consult an orthopedic surgreon for specific advise
