Hello dear Understand your concern. In carpal tunnel syndrome, there is compression of median nerve in wrist. It causes pain, tingling and numbness in the thumb, index and middle fingers. Risk factors: obesity, excessive use of thumb and wrist, hypothyroidism and rheumatoid arthritis.
