Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We can expect complete expulsion of products of conception with medical termination up to 7 to 8 weeks, with increasing gestational age there is possibility of retained products of conception. In ultrasound if the thickness of retained products of conception is less than 8 mm usually that is expected to shed without any treatment and may not lead to much problem. Urine Pregnancy Test kit can give positive result up to 2 weeks after abortion. So you better to wait and repeat Urine Pregnancy Test after that or now you can go for blood test for pregnancy. But you may need two blood tests with two days gap. If they show decreasing trend, the possibility of incomplete abortion is less.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
