How Can An Enlarged Prostate Be Treated?
I have an enlarged prostate that I am taking 4mg of doxazosin a day and still have to get up 2 to 5 times a night. I have a history of cancer of the kidney, tongue, and numerous skin cancers. I have been prescribed 5mg of Finasteride to be taken with the doxazosin . My question is since this is rare but it can cause a high grade prostate cancer so should I take this med? I have had several biopsies of the prostate and no cancer was found.

As you are getting negative biopsies, so do not worries, but you have to take tablet finasteride to help with enlarged prostate as if the prostate is not attended, it will cause more damage to the kidney.
