How Can A Head Injury Be Treated?

I got my head the other day and it left a decent lump on the right side of my head. It hurt a lot but I felt okay. I felt okay yesterday too. But this morning I woke up sweaty and ended up throwing up. I also have a headache on the right side of my head and it also reaches to the front right side including my eye. Should I seek medical attention?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, thank you for the question.
If a patient with head injury came to me, I'd advise them to get a skull X-ray to rule out any fracture.
and if they are having any symptoms like headache, vomiting or if they had en episode of loss of consciousness, it's advisable to get a CT scan of the brain to rule out any hemorrhagic.
I'd advise you to seek medical attention and consider getting X-ray or ct scan done.
in the meantime, Otc drugs like Stemetil and Paracetamol will provide relief from your symptoms.
