How Can A Cyst In The Vocal Cord Be Removed?
My daughter has been told she has a large cyst inside her left vocal cord. ENT did a video strobe exam and showed her the mass. ENT has suggested microflap surgery to remove it. right vocal chord also inflammed. are there any less invasisve options to try first. She is 24 and works in a bar ...much vocal overuse

It's quite a common Condition and results in hoarsness of voice
Treatment options for cyst is mainly surgery
Your ENT doctor has correctly advised you surgery and it's a safe procedure
Sorry but I don't think so availablity of any drugs which can current this disease
So my advise would be go with surgery and also avoid vocal abuse otherwise she will develop problem in other cord also.
