How Can A Bump At The Site Of Nose Piercing Be Treated?
Hello i wanted to ask about my nose piercing.. i have to removed it everyday in front of my father thn put it all day.. i do this everyday sonce i first pierced it.. they say i have to wait at least 1 month to remove ot or something.. well I did it 2 weeks ago and today a little bump appeared on the inside and on the outside.. can you give me any advise? And one more question.. Do you have any idea which is better as an antibiotic? Fucidine or Baneocin?
Your symptoms could be due to infection, allergic reaction. Take following advises: Gently remove your nose ring/ nose pin and do not wear them again till you get the infection resolved. Apply Triple antibiotic ointment two times a day. Clean the area of infection with antiseptic solution like savlon/dettol. Do not touch with dirty hand. Keep the area clean and dry. Contact Primary care physician if it does not resolve in next 4-5 days.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
