Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Duphaston is a progesterone derivative. If you are not pregnant, then you will get your periods 5 to 7 days after stopping duphaston. If you do not get your periods, then take a home pregnancy test. The doctor must have asked to follow up on 2nd day of period, so as to start a medication called Clomiphene. Clomiphene induces ovulation thereby improving chances of conceiving.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
