How Can Methamphetamine Be Removed From The System?

Daily user of methamphetamine via smoking about a grams worth every 2-4 days. How can I purge it from my system? What vitamins can I take to assist in elimination? How long does it stay in system in the event I need to take a UA test? If it can t be eliminated entirely, what can I do to bring the level down so that it doesn t show on a UA. Thanks for your time.

Hi,

Methamphetamine is a highly addictive and psychostimulant recreational drug. The half-life of it ranges from 5 to 30 hours.

It can be detected in urine 1 hour after use and up to 72 hours after use. It's metabolites can be detected in the body for 2 to 4 days.

Intake of vitamins would not help in its elimination. It needs to undergo metabolism in the body and has to get excreted through kidneys.

The most effective treatment for Methamphetamine addiction is cognitive behavioral interventions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
