Hello, Pain when the frenulum glides over the glans occurs because of swelling and inflammation of the glans, it happens in uncircumcised men. It occurs due to bacterial infection and certain skin conditions. It can occur due to fungal infection and sexually transmitted diseases. You should take care of your hygiene. Apply antifungal ointment/cream (clotrimazole) on the area affected. Make sure to keep blood glucose level under control at all cost if you are diabetic. You can take acetaminophen or NSAIDs to get rid of pain, inflammation and soreness. Get STD test done if reports are positive, you will be treated with antibiotics / antiviral. Do not touch, scratch or pick. If you are having recurrent problem then get clinically examined by a urologist / surgeon, you may be recommended to get circumcision done. Take care.
