How Can severe Breathlessness Be Treated?

69 year old healthy woman had double bypass six months ago and was recovering nicely. However, her shortness of breath returned after a mild walk. She had cardio cauterization and EKG both of which were normal. No blockages. Why would her symptoms have returned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There should be chest X-ray, blood pressure monitoring and complete evaluation for dyspnea. Also, get assessed for anemia. It is good that ECG is normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi,
