Hip Injury, Did Workout, Pain During Movement. Advise?

I slipped and fill hard on my right lower hip area about a week ago staining my deck. I do need to mention that after the 5+ hrs of staining I did my once a week leg workout involving sqauts with light weights, stiff legged dead lifts and body weight lunges. It hurts tremendously to turn over in my bed and when sitting down and than getting up it takes awhile for me to walk without a noticeable limp. Also getting out of my car is very difficult where i have to help lift my injured side leg out of the car..with lots of pain. After I'm warmed up i can walk for miles up and down 5-30% grades of which I do each morning before work. also. no visible bruising, although the pain feels like somebody kneed me hard on my outside upper thigh area. What do you think? Will it pass eventually. Also need to mention that although i did a fairly good leg workout last Sunday, there's no way I would or could do a leg workout now. Advice............thanks, Michael

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The persistent pain during the movement can be due to a muscle sprain or labral tear or a bone injury. An MRI scan is necessary to find out the exact cause of pain in such cases.
