What Should Be Done For Scanty Withdrawal Bleeding After Using The Unwanted Kit?

Hi I have been using unwanted kit for my 6 weeks pregnancy.i have taken mifepristone in the morning and before 48 hrs I took one misoprostal vaginally... I started bleeding after 1 hrs and then the bleeding reduced. I took 2nd misoprostal in next 12 hrs but my bleeding is still less. Wat should I do? Should I need to take my last two tablets within 12 hrs or I will take one by one ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should not use tablets for termination of pregnancy without consulting gynecologist and not getting ultrasound done. Because sometimes the pregnancy can occur either in the fallopian tube or in the ovary which is called as ectopic pregnancy in that case if you take tablets for termination that can lead to rupture of gestational sac and that will become emergency. So, please consult your gynecologist once, get examined and undergo ultrasound. If you are having intrauterine gestational sac and signs of abortion started, you can take the remaining tablets as per the advice of your doctor. Usually Mifepristone should be taken first followed by Misoprostol.
