Having tight bowel movements. What is the cause ?

hi i have 2 year old boy and i got worried about his tight bowel movement..he was exclusive breast feeds but can eat solid food too..he had only his bowel movement once a week with hard and dry stool..what is the cause and what can i help him to get back to normal? please Doctor?

Please introduce vegetable soups, fruits to his diet .Dates soaked in water ,figs maygiven daily along with lot of liquids may help.

Welcome to healtcare magic. Your baby is defficient of water. Give him lot of liquid diet. Add vegetable soup & fibre diet in his meal. Additionally you may give luxative at night.

First you try to discontinue breast feeding,it has no meaning at this ageGive him very high fibre diet,liquid diet,plenty of fluids,fruit juices.
You can give stool softner like duphalac,Lactulose.Consult your paediatrisian.

Hi, Please give him sufficient boiled water with Nutritional food,like Dal,milk,fish,eggs,rice & green vegetables.

Rx, 1) Alumina 30/20D/TD.
2) Thuja 200/4D/OD- for 4 days in morning.

If you want then you can give him those medicines.

I think he is deficient in water intake. Kidly see that he gets enough water to drink. Add fresh fruits and vegetables to his diet. If he is being exclusively breast fed even at this age he could develop Rickets as a complication. Please be aware.

Make sure that your buddy is given sufficient amount of water....
also don forget this kindly dis continue intake of biscuits wafers and many others...
give them honey 1 tsp mixed with 2-3 drops of ginger juice and 2 flakes of steamed garlic and 1 banana daily... its done
