Having Painful Cramps In Left Side During Periods. Are These Menstrual Cramps?
My daughter is having her period and has sever pain in her left side. She has also gotten sick( vomit) 2 days ago The pain went away but has come back. It happened lat moth also. She is a goalie for a lacrosse team and has to play tomorrow Do you think this maybe just bad period cramps? She does not have a fever but has a left lower pain in her side. We will see a doctor next week but wondering what you think. Cramps went away for half the day today but just came back. She has had her period for about 2 years and the last few months have had cramps..Only while she is on her period. I never had these as a teenagerH.

Hi,
It seems that she is having Dysmenorrhoea i.e. pain during period.
She can take antispasmodic like Dicyclomine tablet for symptomatic relief.
She can take this tablet 6-8 hourly.
Ok and take care.
