Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
Your baby of 1yr and 7 months is having acute gastro enetritis since 5 days. 5 days isalong time for diarrhoea to settle down and such long duration may cause dehydration. I am sure you might have consulted a child doctor , if not, do it as the first thing cause dehydration comes very fast in children. Secondly milk is not contraindicated and you should continue to give the mild and all kinds of liquids to make up the deficit. If the stools dont stop then the baby may be put on a antibiotic . Feed you baby a lot of ORS powder. Do consult your child specialist.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for asking a question to H.C.M.F.
Your baby is of 1 year 7 months.Since 5 days she is having loose motions. some times vomiting, i am giving sporlac, and entrogermina . you have read some where to avoid giving milk during motions.
In case of lactose intolarance we should not give milk to the child. Other wise if the child tolerates you can give him dilute milk during motions.
I advise you to consult a pediatrics specialist for diagnosis and treatment. he will get her stools examined for reducing substances, and if positive instruct you to stop the milk.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
