Have Swelling, Pain And Popping Noise. Had A Sprain Earlier. Is There Anything Very Serious?

Hello, I sprained my ankle 4 days ago very badly. There was a popping noise, alot of swelling, and it wouldn't hold me. Now I am trying to use a walking boot, but have noticed a slight tingling sensation in my foot. I go to the doctor on Monday, is that soon enough? Is there any serious issue I should immediately (ambulance immediately) be concerned about?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The popping noise, swelling and pain on weight bearing on the ankle are suggestive of a bone injury. You need to get an X-ray of your ankle done for proper diagnosis and treatment. Avoid weight bearing on the foot till then.
