Have Soreness And Stiffness In The Left Hand In The Early Morning Almost Daily. Taking Tylenol Arthritis. What Is The Solution?
Thankyou Dr. Grief: I have been experiencing a sore and very stiff left hand every morning when I wake up. I do have the usual osteoarthritis of my joints in my legs and hips, but this condition in my hand is fairly new and quite distressing. I don't know quite how to handle it other than taking Tylenol Arthritis (which doesn't seem to help), massaging my hand or just waiting for it to go away. Can you possibly tell me what I can do to irradicate the pain. Julia.
Hello.By the symptoms that you have is necessary to rule out inflammatory rheumatic disease.Suspecting inflammatory rheumatic disease, Acetaminophen is not the ideal drug because it has no anti-inflammatory effect. In my opinion Diclofenac 50 mg thrice a day can be taken for treating your hand pain. Please go to your Doctor for exploration ,prescription and, perhaps,to request additional test. I wish you good health. (In case the answer would have been useful please indicate this)
