Have Severe Pain, Itching And Soreness In The Throat
i have an extremely sore throat, I've tried everything i can think of to make it better, but nothing even makes the pain more mild. I've seen two doctors and the quick strep tests were negative, but one took a lab strep test, no results yet
No other symptoms, not itchy or scratchy, just pain. I can't swallow water or even my own spit. It's absolutely awful

Most probably you are having upper respiratory tract infections. Are you taking antibiotics like levoflox or azethromycin. Also start decongestant like phenylephrine. Lozenzens are good for soothening effect. Take warm saline gargle. Avoid cold things like ice-cream some time steroidcan used as last measure.

You have pain in throat difficulty in swalloing it can be throat infection take a course of antibiotics capsule cefixime 200 mg twice daily , Tablet citrezine twice daily , capsule vitamin B complex once daily for 5 days it can help you.

Thanks for writing to HCM.
Its a throat infection for sure...and there are many other bacterias other than strep to cause throat infection... i would suggest that you take a course of antibiotics and NSAID....and do warm saline gargles...but you need to see your local doctor for the prescription...
