Have redness, white circles and pain in roof of mouth. Had oral sex. Herpes?

Hi. I recently had oral sex last week. I didn t notice any lesions on my partner s vagina, but a couple of days later, I started feeling some pain in the roof of my mouth. There s redness and some small white circles on the rugae of my mouth. Some are painful (on the right side) and some are not (on the left side). I m wondering if the lesions are from just trauma, or if it s herpes? I didn t have any fever, cervical lymph adenopathy, tingling or chills when this occurred. Thank you Dr. Grief.

Hi and welcome to Healthcare magic.Thank you for the query.
It is hard to say,. You should just wait and see the progresson . If this progress into vesicles and blisters then it could be herpes and treatment is necessary. If there is just redness then it can be irritation only.
Wish you good health. Regards
