Have Reddish Lump On Thigh, Painful, Itching. Help
I have a redish purple round lump on the top of my thigh about as big around as a pencil eraser and feels deep. Some time it really hurts especial if I accidentally bump it and some times is itches. It is slick on top, well anyway you can't pick it like you would a pimp or other skin problems, and it is getting more tender all the time. I have had it about 6 months

This hard lump can be due to bleeding in a simple benign tumor like a mole.
Usually it is asymptomatic but bleed can cause pain. A photograph would have helped in closer diagnosis.
