Have Pain In Fingers And Wrists. Hands Swollen. Have Lymphadenopathy In Neck And Occipital Glands. What To Do?
Good morning- at the beginning of June I became aware of pain in my fingers and wrists. My hands began to swell and was unable to get my rings or my watch on. I was referred to a Rheumatologist when my ESR 105, platelets and WCC were low. My ANA has come back at 1:2000 and I have strongly positive DNA antibodies. My mother has psoriatic arthropathy with no psoriasis on her skin just a few pits in her nails. Does this definitely sound like SLE or could it be psoriatic arthropathy? My hands and wrist pain is coming and going. I have lymphadenopathy in neck, occipital glands and also since yesterday supraclavicular nodes. Many thanks from a worried Mum of three

After going through your query I reached a conclusion that you have PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS.
As there is a family history ( your mother),
psoriasiform lesions are in the scalp , (occipital region), fingers and supraclavicular lymph nodes,
Undiagnosed inflammatory arthropathy,
If lesions are in umbilicus and gluteal folds than diagnosis is sure.
Physical examination is very important so physician consultation will reveal some exact nature of disease.
