Have Pain. Done Internal Examination. Got Genital Herpes
I have just been to the doctor and told them about pain ive been having down below for some time. It mainly seems to be my ovaries that are hurting. He has given me an internal examination and says there is nothing visibly wrong with me. I do suffer from genital herpes, so i was wondering if it was perhaps something to do with that? The whole time ive had this pain ive been having outbreaks pretty frequently (for about a year now). Thanks.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. However you did't mention the exact site of pain so very difficult to evaluate any diagnosis without complete information ,but pain may be due to. 1 Ovarian cyst as this is the most common cause of pain in young child bearing age group.Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of abdomen . 2 Fallopian tube infection , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical as well clinical examination with history of illness . 3 As you mentioned that may be Herpes as recurrent Herpes may be due to decrease in immunity . Diagnosis can be confirmed by blood examination to rule out herpes . In my opinion consult one more gynecologist and get his opinion. Good luck. Dr. HET
