Have Numbness In Hands And Shoulder If Slept On It. No Medication Till Now. What Can Be The Cause?
I wake up several times during the night due to my hands going to sleep, then I have to adjust my sleeping pattern to avoid laying on shoulders. It takes several minutes of rubbing my arms/hands until the numbness goes away. I have had rotator cuff injuries both shoulders and my shoulders still ache from this. No repairs done. Could laying on my shoulders cause this numbness? What kind of doctor would I see for treatment? Neurologist or ortho?

well as per your history u are having rotator cuff in juries.
u plz consult an ortthopaedecian and get x rays done or mri.it might be some kind of nerve compression.uir doctor will refer to neurophysician if require byeee.
