Have Long Cycle, Had PCOS And Scan Showed No More Cysts. Thyroid Test Normal But Still No Periods
Hi,
I'm 28 yrs old. I usually have a cycle of 35 days. I had PCOS when I was young(17 yrs). Had been on medication for few years and my last scan said that there are no more cysts. I started having my periods regularly (for the past 6 yrs) with a cycle gap of 35 days. Last year I had thyroid test which also said that its normal. My last periods was on June 8-10,2013. I'm not sexually active and not on any contraceptive pills. I've not got my periods still. My life style has been pretty much the same. I lost 2 kgs and then got back to the same weight again (rather maintaining the same weight for the past 10 yrs) I've given my blood for testing. Could you please advise.
Hi, Thanks for the query. The possible causes for your problem are : - Recent fluctuations in weight -Recurrence of PCOD -Decreased hemoglobin levels -Stress and strain in job etc. So after getting blood reports, you consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for ultrasound. Possibly by this the cause for your problem can be identified and treated. For more details you can ask me directly through the premium forum. Take care.
