Have Ear Pain. Tried Auro Earache Relief. No Change. What To Do?
I bought ear drops for pain i have in my ear. It called for 3 to 4 drops every 4 hours. I put 4 drops and then about 5 minutes later i put 2 more drops then put a cotton ball in my ear as directed.. The name of the medicine is AURO EARACHE RELIEF. After lying down for a few minutes I took out the cotton ball and i still have been having the pain and i feel like my ear is clogged and having deafness. What should I do?
I a so sorry to hear about this ear ache. I am sorry to hear the relief product has not been of great help too.
The most common causes of ear ache are infections, trauma, ear block by cerumen etc. Beside controlling the pain with pain medications, you need to be evaluated for the specific cause and offered treatment. I will suggest you meet with a doctor and get your ear examined(otoscopy).
For now, you may want to add another pain medication by mouth before seeing your doctor to get examined.
Hope this helps and provides guidance on the way forward. Wish you good health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
