Have Burning Sensation When Urinating Along With Blood. What Could Be The Cause And The Remedy?
I'm a 29 year old male. Last night when I urinated it burned then when I wiped with a tissue there was a light red color so I'm assuming it was blood. This is the first time I see any traces of blood in my urine. But I have had that stinging burning sensation in the past. Do you know what it can be? Is this something that should be treated as an emergency?
Hi and welcome to HCM.
This isnt an emergency but it sounds like urinary infection which is very common in women and usually caused by bacteria. These symptoms: blood in urne and burning pain suggest urinary infection, but can be seen in kindey stones and some other rare disorders. Also it is important to evaluate is this blood coming from vagina or urethra. YOu should visit your GP and do urine analysis and uroculture. He wioll probably give you an antibiotic and it should be healed after 10 days. So there is nothing to be worried about, just do what I ve recommended. Wish you good health.
