I fell off of a ladder in Sept. and broke my fibula at the knee. There was alot of bruising on the side of my leg as well as the back. I just got back from the PT who told me that perhaps I bruised my bone as it is still tender there and I don't have full mobility there. Pain when trying to draw the knee high enou

Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. In my opinion, fracture of bones sometimes leads to a condition called compartment syndrome a serious problem due to damage of blood vessels. Thus it can also lead to infection.
