Hello,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Blemish is a pretty common term used to describe wide range of imperfections on skin which could be dark spots, age spots, freckles, pimples etc thus the perfect diagnosis is difficult without proper examination.
Anyways, considering your age and history, i would advise you strict sun protection. Always use a good sunscreen lotion (SPF 30 or higher) before going out in sun and cover your face and head with proper clothing or cap etc.
Secondly, for skin tone and texture you need to add anti-aging creams into your routine. Multiple products are available which have good proven role in anti-aging.
Try cream /gel containing retinol (Yugard) or glycolic acid(Glyco-6/Glyco-A) or tretinoin(Nexret 0.04%/0.1%).
Use these products only after and as advised by your dermatologist.
Apart from these, you can undergo minor procedures like microdermabrasion(skin polishing) or chemical peeling on regular basis which will remove your dead skin, stimulate new skin formation and help in reducing pigmentation and blemishes.
Lastly, drink plenty to water and have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables on daily basis.
Indulge into little exercise and workout few days a week.
Hope this will resolve all your issues.
wishing you best of health.
Take care.

Hi yes blemishes are more common in females of middle age.they are mainly due to hormonal.photosensitivity.cosmetcs.pregnancy etc.it presents are erythematous to black to brown patches over the cheeks and sometimes on the nose.
It can be managed by sunban lotion application in the morning and application of moiste cream along with kojiglo cream in the night can cure the condition.if no response go for chemical peels with salcylic or glycolic acid peels
