Have A Stable 'corner' Fracture At The Bottom Of My Fibula. Now In A Cast. Feels Like It Is Sprained. Can I Put On Weight?

I have a stable 'corner' fracture at the bottom of my (Right leg) fibula (outside ankle) - due to rolling my ankle badly 2 weeks ago. It's now in a cast. Should/can I put weight on it? (ie walking with one crutch) - it doesn't seem to hurt if I do this. I had an X-Ray one week after the injury, as I thought it was just a sprained ankle, but thought I should get it checked out. Kind regards, Matthew

thanks for the query.
as your fracture is due to stress or weight bearing fracture you should be careful in using the crutches.
its good to use both crutches instead of one only if it is necessary.have long bed rest.

go for regular checkups with x rays done to confirm complete union of fracture.
